WASTE OF MONEY By VERITAS II For those of you who are pondering purchasing this based on the Oreck commercial you've seen on TV, beware. I have a sailboat that is very dusty, and thought this would clear out the dust. In the sunlight, you can actually see the dust floating in the air. I placed this contraption in the middle of the space, turned it on, and watched as the dust was blown around, and hardly any clearing of the space took place. The dust that was floating around continued to float around, with the machine running at high speed for nearly an hour. I have pets and a smoker in the house and I tell the size of this amazing is the removal orders. It works perfectly in a room 24x16 and smaller. Can I use this product in a room and within an hour or so the smell of smoke or other order is completely gone bad! I recommend this product to anyone who pets, allergies, or have a smoker in the house. This product eliminates the smell of animals, smoke, and just about anything else. I will be buying another, but this is so good that I am not in a rush to buy another worked. It's worth every penny! In addition, maintenance is a breeze .. there is no gross change or clean filters. It was great work! I could not smell a smell of the dog or the kitchen. But in the past two months, it stopped working. I was shocked! I thought that if I clean the filters as they suggest, may solve the problem, but it did not. After realizing that the device is in fact not even a little less work, I called the manufacturer, TherapureAir the 1 year warranty. I've seen some bad security, but at the top of their list! First, they told me to pay to ship the unit back to them, and they told me that on top of that, I would have to pay $ 30 for a new unit they have sent to me. When I asked why I was paying $ 30, they told me to cover "processing fee plus shipping their own." "I've been angry and told the man, if I have to shell out close to $ 50 for a new device that could break again after only 6 months use, I can also buy other brands, and a new device, so I thought that I had the money to shell out for a new appliance bad ... but it was even worse: After complaints and tell the guy how it worked out well for the first 6 months and then ceased to work easily, he confessed that most of their shares tend to do it. He said they are working 100% for the first few months when you get them, but then later, tend to work only about 40-60%. Basically, this guy said their units have to work not long and that their products are not all who claim to speak BE. There were two of my more than three years, gave one to my sister Marilyn originally bought one for the basement to get rid of musty odor worked so great that we bought for a quarter and one for our motorhome. I will run continuously, the cleaning of the month and my allergy problems almost disappeared. My sister lives in a very old house and the basement is wet more than once. We painted and put your room there and suddenly began to have a sinus infection after another. I gave the engine of our house and within two days I had relief of symptoms. Many people who worked there were often sick, we had tests done and found that the mold count was the charts ... It did not help that most people we see are sick. I noticed a difference in air quality, after less than a day of use. The airflow is excellent ... many units have limited cash flow, but this unit has two fans and is able to clean the air with ease, with all the noise from other units are up (compared to my last two Oreck that were placed on both up LOUD). Overall great product for the price. Love replaceable UV lights ... Kaz went to the site and found them at an affordable price ... The permanent filters was also a concern in other models, no filters to replace means competing over the long term (average cost filter 40 to $ 90). I recommend this product to others. There were not much more than the air was a pain to clean that Honeywell has a lifetime filter, you can cut the manufacturer of the ozone layer outside if desired. I took the smell of fried salmon in my kitchen in about 30 minutes. To remove the smell of two people who smoke cigars in my basement for an hour! It has a prefilter, which is also a carbon filter. The internal filter (photocatalysis) seems to be much thinner and eliminate the smaller particles. Additional Filters / tiles ozone on the website (I wanted a cleaner that can get extra filters / plates of ozone in case of emergency) the real power comes the smell of cleaning ceramic tile ozone! While I was smoking, I kept the "cleansing" at level 2 with the fan on 3. When it was done and left the room, I put the "cleansing" at level 5 and a fan fifth You should not be in the room with the ozone layer set to 5. In fact, pumped! I could not be happier with my purchase. And to make matters worse, the company is a pleasure to deal with an instant response to emails! Our family have allergies sinusitis and colds many times in the result. I was tired from our two small children all medications for their runny nose and I thought it would help. My wife was a little skeptical, but within the first 2 days of installing the air filter in the living room of a stuffy nose went away and we do not have a sinus infection (or actually even a runny nose) then. I bought three more - one for each bedroom - and is very happy with the result. The device is hardly noticeable on the "silent" mode (I have my hand over it to know it). Children as "medium" setting at bedtime, because it gives a little "white" noise. I usually leave them on the media if we are not home. I have cleaned all drives and it was very easy. Just use the brush and vacuum clean the front, top and inside of it I used the cleaner Assail cell cell Truman - just spray on, wash it and let it dry overnight. Some people have complained about shooting or popping noise like Oreck is occasionally done, but I only heard a couple of times and I know that is not work. I have had excellent results with this air purifier and highly recommend it. The remote is very convenient. I also have allergies. The unit is very nice. I heard you could also look good next to my receiver in my home theater. The element air really pushes the parameters of medium and high. It 'pretty noisy at those speeds, but close to giving birth in silence. Apparently uses an electrified metal grid to remove dust particles that seems to have alleviated my allergies and it seemed not to smoke cigarettes in check to prevent to win. If you put your nose to the level of operation, the air smells clean, but I think that what you smell is ozone. Is not it dangerous to breathe the ozone layer people? I considered a similar model from Honeywell, and after comparing the two boxes of products to the finish I went with the Bionaire. I confirm that my main reason to go Bionaire that all functions are the same as Honeywell, Bionaire is still attractive. With my air cleaner that replaces it, I tried to hide the camera because she was ugly. This unit looks good and I'm not trying to hide it at all. In addition, the materials seem to be a better value then similar models Honeywell (I will only look and feel). When searching for an air cleaner, I wanted a machine where I have not had to replace the filter. The unit has two large permanent HEPA filter every three months, that you clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner. There is a warning light when it's time to do it there are three levels of speed. The lowest setting is very quiet. The highest value is quite strong. I can sleep both the low and medium settings. Not so with height adjustment. There is also a timer so that after 2 hours, 4 or 6 unit shuts off automatically. Another feature is an automatic setting that is supposed to monitor air quality and adjust the settings. Not sure if the device really try to feel something, or just having a set routine. I think the routine is defined. Finally, there is an ionizer. Some people say it is bad for the air, some say it's good for the air. Actually I have no idea what is true. I know that after a while seems drier air ionizer, which I like. This machine lets you turn off the ionizer on or off according to their views on the subject might be. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. Could not be better units, but is likely to be 1) ugly (subjective I know), and 2) costs more for the release, I had the product for only two weeks, but I have ran all the time take over the stage. I could not be without him for john_s Have you purchased this filter to help with asthma, I must say I was surprised at its effectiveness and to produce clean air and asthma improved dramatically after the first night. The fan has three speeds, an automatic dust sensor, timer and ionizer. Typical set up with Ionizer, if not used for a while and then switch to automatic mode. In my master bedroom, this works very well and the car changes the fan down after 2-3 minutes. This, rather than maintaining air quality and is very quiet, in fact, its soothing sound to sleep. Other reviews have said it myself just a setup program, I must disagree, because I've seen it come back to the top, when I moved some furniture in the room, kicking dust, I read other comments on The back cover is not properly equipped. I must say I do not think this is the case at all, although there is no tape in the drive when it arrived, it was very difficult to remove. Unlike many other units, this is very attractive (I'm in white with silver grill) with a good quality man to the switches on close inspection. Some people have bought it for a commercial area / office and I would say the unit's performance and quality would be fine in this environment. I feel the unit price is probably justified. The quality of the air makes this unit really makes me worry about the air quality background from where I live by the Thames in London, United Kingdom. He feels a bit like air conditioning, but cooler, with a gentle cooling (and much cheaper to use). My wife likes to remind him and sleep in one of our favorite beach hotels in Southeast Asia really make a difference when you enter the room, so we bought a second for the show. I also recommended this to many friends and family. I chose this.

It also has horrible alergies. We have tried everything over the years, our house trying to do alergy free and their lives more comfortable. But she is constantly sick and get reactions. We have tried different air filters. Finally, after searching the web and see IQAir come out on top of each test / review, we decided to spend the $ 800 and take a chance. I'm happy to say it works as advertised. Within the first 24 hours after the execution of the filter disappeared into her room at high speed of her chronic rhinitis. The next day we pulled the filter (it's on wheels) in the middle of the house to treat it in the air throughout the house. It's really a great job. The air in our house smells fresh as if the windows were open. I can not recommend this device. Only one minor quibble, it comes with wheels, but they seem so fragile to consider the size of a wieght machine. I'm afraid of breaking it when I try to roll the device over the carpet. Even on the lowest setting, it is not one for the bedroom, unless you like white noise. At the highest level, I can not be together in the same room with her. This is a very simple and straightforward. Basically a large plastic tube ends with a square or open on both, where the air bubbles from the bottom and the top is drawn past, when the filter on its way. There are six speed settings and three timer filter that tells you when to change filters. Marie-Claude, I started just below the air purifier 52 hours, and it has changed my quality of life. I've never owned an air purifier before. I was literally choking the air in my own apartment during the few months that I lived here, and I had very unrealistic expectations about an air cleaner: I'm posting something like, "Wow, I could feel the difference after two hours!" Well, OK, it took about two hours! But it happened. I started on the low fan with the disinfectant with disabilities. Then I went with medium speed, then I have the disinfectant on the bottom, then I have the fan on the top and the disinfectant on average. I woke up this morning and choked on the air no longer associate with the dusty smell aggressive, with whom I came to my apartment faced. I went out today with the fan on high and disinfectant in the middle and came back tonight to a completely different atmosphere that I'm not afraid of the ozone produced by the disinfectant, but you can choose to run only once or never. My only concern is that, unlike other air filters, it does not have a display light that indicates when the HEPA filter is dirty (and permanent HEPA filter if you have a handheld vacuum, but you can also choose to buy a filter replacement [also available via Amazon]). Since this is my first air cleaner, an artificial light would have been great. But I went for the money. That you check to see where the woman thought they were not in order ... they have forgotten to remove the package from the filter. That's what I do when I get a replacement filter. This work is EXCELLENT! The ionization makes the air so fresh. I thought I run in 2005, 24 (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week and bought it still runs like it when I bought it. The button layout is well designed. It greatly improves air quality and filter dust from the air. Oh, the "high" setting with all the options, uses about 50 watts. The only complaint I have is the blue "on" light, which can not be disabled. I struggled with my allergies so started looking for air purifiers and found that Honeywell had consistently good reviews. This was a new model in the time I bought and I was a little nervous about the fact that a guinea pig but my allergies have clicked the buy button for me. I had the first unit to return, because it started making a strange buzzing cyclical, as the type of engine was tired - I had only about two weeks. Amazon Return Center is amazing and I had a replacement unit in two days. The second unit is great, I had no problems so far. It is quiet (unless you Crank It Up on the highest setting, it is not necessary) and I'm really a difference in air quality. If I turn it off, I start getting the sniffles and itchy eyes in no time. I do not use UV feature, but I like the ionizer *** UPDATE *** Unfortunately I also had to arrange for the second unit must be returned, this time I contacted Honeywell. The purifier has become increasingly loud and sounds like the engine is effortless. I'm really surprised, because I have some drives that were less expensive Honeywell on 24 / 7 for most of last year and I had absolutely no problems with them. We have had our for a week and works very well. Leave it on low does a good job of keeping our room clean ... Thus, the air at least ... As someone mentioned, the light is quite bright in the control panel. We cover the top of the unit with a guide at night to block the light. A message to those who compare this to the model WH10400 ... smaller model is not automatic fan speed does not have the luxury of the screen, and they do not have a remote control. I bought almost a lower model ... but is automatically pushed me to buy it. It is also interesting to see the color-screen change when the air is not so good. If you are looking to buy an air purifier, I strongly recommend this. Update 1 July 2011 - is still intact plants ... I washed the dust filter foam on the back several times, it is the only interview so far, the AUTO mode is great ... when the air is clear, the screen is blue and the fan is running low (very low). If we have something that shakes dust (vacuuming, dusting, etc.) to do, then it will go kick in the yellow-orange and the fan on position 2 If you are really touched the polluted air (like when I get cut off my shirt and dusty), then it is red and starts the fan at high (3). It is a little noisy at settings 2 and 3, we usually keep it at least one night. Sometimes, when a neighbor (or a bat in our attic) is making noise, we have two, just to create white noise. I have several Sharper Image cleaner and a touch of rabbits. I still like the Rabbit Air, but always wished that it has a UV bulb in. But my sharper image air purifiers have been gathering dust and is sitting unused since they started acting up - crackling, popping and making all sorts of annoying noises that no amount of cleaning can fix it. Well, thanks to this Hoover, I finally got to throw out that junk sharper image! I'm still using rabbit Air, Hoover, but believes that this is the better of the two. Things that make you go DUH! It was not until I had this house that I built this air purifier is the Hoover brand vacuum people - DUH! Well, it made me even happier to know a little about getting this device. It is natural that people who make some of the best cavities now makes one of the best air cleaners I've tried. I think we're in the process of air intake too much! I made a lot of research on air cleaners over the years. I have chronic respiratory problems like asthma, COPD and bronchitis I also use oxygen at home and in motion, breathe clean air is important not only for me, but crucial to my well being. And living in Los Angeles, I am well aware of the "good" air quality days and "bad". The effect me constantly and I could not do without my air freshener. And with my Sharper Image cleaners acting on the new Hoover came at the right time for me! Car - Set It & Forget It One of the things I like is that the Hoover car. The unit automatically detects the air quality and adjusts fan speed accordingly. My Rabbit Air has this feature, but apparently not anywhere near as sensitive as the Hoover. I was in the bathroom in my spray deodorant, and Hoover, the "pollution" to detect in the next room and shoot at high speed to clear the air. Cool!
